Bringing Comfort Home: A Community Effort for Pat Barnett

At Hometown Missions, we know that a safe and comfortable home is essential, especially during the extreme Texas summers. That’s why, in July and August 2024—some of the hottest months of the year—our team came together to help Pat Barnett with a much-needed HVAC replacement, ensuring she could stay cool and comfortable in her home.

A Community-Powered Project

This project was made possible by the generosity of our community, with individual donors stepping up to contribute funds and support. We are especially grateful to VFW Post 2933-DSTX, American Legion Post 290-DSTX, and The Friends Foundation, whose financial contributions played a crucial role in bringing this project to life.

Making a Difference in the Hottest Months

With temperatures soaring, the timing of this project couldn’t have been more critical. A functioning HVAC system isn’t just about comfort—it’s about health, safety, and quality of life, particularly for those most vulnerable to extreme heat. Thanks to the generosity of our community and the hard work of our team, Pat’s home is now a place of true refuge, no matter the season.

Thank You to Our Supporters

We extend our deepest gratitude to every donor, volunteer, and supporter, especially Barton Creek A/C who helped make this project possible. Your kindness and commitment to helping neighbors in need reflects the heart of our mission.
